I created this mask in my design class. I used an article in the newspaper about me and my murdered friends. We were shot for race mixing in 1980, when I was 15 years old. The killer murdered 39 people and left 4 survivors. I am one of the survivors. On the 30 year anniversary a number of miracles occurred and led to a healing event featured in the Salt Lake Tribune for 7 days in a row.
